Thank you (hereinafter referred to as the"user" or"you/your/yours")for using the Canaan recruitment website (https://canaan-creative.zhiye.com, hereinafter referred to as the "recruitment website"; if the domain name or website address changes, please refer to any announcements made on the Recruitment Website).


1.Acceptance of Terms


1.1 The Canaan Recruitment Website User Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Service") is a contract between You and Canaan (including Canaan Inc. and its affiliates, hereinafter collectively referred to as "Canaan" or "We/Us/Our"). This contract serves as the agreement on the User account registration, the use of various services of the Recruitment Website, and other related matters. When You use the Recruitment Website, please be sure to carefully read and understand all rights and restrictions stipulated in the Terms of Service. Canaan provides the User with services based on the Recruitment Website in accordance with the Terms of Service and the rules and policies published from time to time. Unless You accept the Terms of Service, You have no right to register, log in or use the related services covered by the Terms of Service. Once You register, log in, or use the related services involved in the Terms of Service in any way, You will be deemed to have accepted the Terms of Service, which means that You agree to be bound by the Terms of Service. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER, LOG IN, OR USE THE SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.


1.2 The Terms of Service may be modified by Canaan at any time in accordance with changes in relevant laws and regulations, as well as adjustments to the company's operating conditions and business strategies, without separate notice to the user. You can browse the latest Terms of Service through the recruitment website at any time. In the event of a relevant dispute, the last updated version of the Terms of Service shall prevail. If you do not agree with Canaan's modification to the Terms of Service, you should immediately stop using the network services provided by the recruitment website. If you continue to use the network services provided by the recruitment website, it is deemed that you accept the Terms of Service modified made by Canaan. If you have any doubts or dissatisfaction with the content of the Terms of Service (especially the terms involving exemption or limitation of liability), you may contact us at any time according to the contact information listed in the Terms of Service, and we will promptly handle your request or complaint, and provide you with explanations accordingly.


1.3 When you use an individual service of the recruitment website, you and Canaan shall abide by the guidelines and rules related to the service announced by Canaan at any time. All the aforementioned guidelines and rules are included in the Terms of Service.


1.4 You must abide by the Terms of Service and use the services provided by Canaan legally and reasonably. Otherwise, Canaan has the right to interrupt or terminate services in accordance with the Terms of Service. Meanwhile, Canaan reserves the right to withdraw your account at any time.


2.Service Description


2.1 Canaan provides the user with services including but not limited to the following: viewing Canaan's standard and campus recruitment positions (including intern and fresh graduate recruitment, the same below), resume submission, and participation in Canaan's campus recruitment talks. Unless otherwise expressly provided in the Terms of Service, any new features of the current service added or enhanced by Canaan, including new product launches, are governed by the Terms of Service.


2.2 The User understands and agrees that Canaan's services, products and information are provided on an "as-is" basis. Canaan expressly refuses to give any explicit or implied representations or warranties for "services", "information" or "products" etc., including, but not limited to representations or warranties for commercial use, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement upon the rights of others. Canaan is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from any "services", "products" or "information". Canaan is not responsible for the valid period, deletion, mis-transmission, failure to store, or any other problems related to user information or personalization settings.


2.3 You agree that Canaan has the right to formulate general measures and restrictions on the use of the recruitment website, including but not limited to the maximum period for which the recruitment website will retain the posted content or other published content, and the maximum number of times you can use the recruitment website within a certain period (and/or the maximum time per use). You agree that Canaan shall not be held responsible for the deletion or storage failure of any information, communication information, and other content published or transmitted through the recruitment website. You also agree that, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, Canaan reserves the right to change these general measures and restrictions at any time at its own discretion, with or without notice.


2.4 The user understands and accepts that Canaan only provides network services related to the recruitment website, in addition to equipment related to network services (such as personal computers, mobile phones, and other devices related to accessing the Internet or mobile Internet) and other related equipment. The required fees (such as telephone charges and Internet access charges for accessing the Internet, and mobile phone charges for using a mobile network) shall be borne by the user.


3.User Registration and Personal Information Submission


3.1 When applying for "campus recruitment" on the Recruitment Website, the User must provide accurate personal information, including but not limited to mobile number, email address, password and other information, and ensure the authenticity, validity and legality of the login credentials updated thereafter. When applying for "standard recruitment" on the Recruitment Website, the User must submit their personal information and resume. If there is any change in the personal information You fill in and/or submit on the Recruitment Website, You must update it immediately. All consequences arising from inaccurate and untrue personal information provided by the User shall be borne by the User. If You provide any information that is illegal, unethical, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by Canaan for display on the Recruitment Website, or if Canaan has reason to suspect that You are using a bot or carrying out a malicious operation, Canaan has the right to suspend or terminate Your account without prior notice and deny You any current and future use of all or any part of the Recruitment Website. If You cause losses to Canaan and related parties due to Your improper registration or use, You shall also be responsible for any corresponding compensation.5


3.2 You should warrant that you have reached the age of 18 at the time of registration and have the corresponding capacity for civil conduct to sign the Terms of Service.


3.3 If minors between the age of 16 and 18 want to use the recruitment website's services, they may only use the recruitment website with the consent of their guardians who should carefully read the Terms of Service, register an account, and fill in relevant information. Minors should not use the recruitment website's services without the consent of their guardians. If your guardian does not agree with your use of the recruitment website's services, please stop using the services immediately and contact us in a timely manner according to the contact information listed in the Terms of Service, so that we can take corresponding measures. If you are under the age of 14, please do not register, log in or use the services of the recruitment website. 3.4Canaan shall not be responsible for any of your (or any user's) registration information, including but not limited to identifying and verifying the authenticity, correctness, completeness, applicability and/or up-to-dateness of any information.


4.User ID, Password and Security


4.1After completing the registration process on the recruitment website and successfully registering, you may use your registered mobile phone number/registered email address and password to log in to your account on the recruitment website (hereinafter referred to as "account"). When the registration is completed, you will have the right to use your account. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your account.


4.2 You are solely responsible for all activities and events under your registered account. You agree to/that:


(1)Immediately notify Canaan of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security issue;

(2)Canaan shall not be liable for any losses or damage arising from hacker attack or the user's failure to keep their account and password safe;

(3)You shall be fully responsible for any damages you, Canaan, or third parties may incur when using your account, including but not limited to losing control of your account and password due to your negligence (whether general negligence or gross negligence).


4.3 The user shall not transfer, lend, sell or otherwise make available their account ID and passwords to others, otherwise the user shall be fully responsible for any consequences arising therefrom.


4.4 After the user completes the registration, the user will obtain the right to use the account, while Canaan reserves ownership of the account.


5.Third-Party Websites


Our Recruitment Website, which is developed by Beijing Beisen Cloud Computing Co., LTD. as commissioned by Canaan, may contain links to websites operated by third parties. At the same time, the standard recruitment page and the campus recruitment page of the Recruitment Website includes related products or services from the website operated by Beijing Beisen Cloud Computing Co., LTD. The related products or services of the third-party-operated website included in the link to the third-party-operated website are subject to their terms of service, but this does not mean that Canaan endorses or is responsible for the terms of service of such third-party-operated website.


6.1 Protecting Your personal information is not only a legal requirement but also a basic principle that Canaan has long adhered to. The registration and other information You provided to Canaan will be protected under the laws of the People's Republic of China (for the purpose of the Terms of Service, excluding Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan region, hereinafter referred to as "China"). Canaan will collect, store, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with Chinese laws, the Terms of Service, and Canaan Recruitment Website Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy").


7.User Regulations


7.1 You should abide by relevant Chinese laws and regulations, and agree to take full responsibility for any behavior or results of using the Recruitment Website through Your Account in any way. You will bear all legal responsibilities if You violate any national laws; if You are suspected of committing a crime, the judicial authority will hold You criminally responsible, and the Recruitment Website will provide cooperation therefore in strict accordance with the obligations stipulated by the law and the requirements of the judicial authority. At the same time, if Canaan has reason to believe that any of Your actions, including but not limited to any of Your remarks or behaviors violate or may violate any provisions of national laws and regulations, Canaan may terminate the provision of services to You at any time without any prior notice.


7.2 In the process of using the recruitment website’s services, the user must follow the following principles:


(1)Comply with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, rules, normative documents and other provisions;

(2)Comply with all protocols, regulations and procedures related to network services;

(3)Not use the network services provided by the recruitment website to upload, display, disseminate or use other methods to transmit information containing any one of the following:

(a)Information that opposes the basic principles established by the Constitution;

(b)Information that endangers national security, divulges state secrets, subverts state power, and undermines national unity;

(c)Information that damages national honor and interests;

(d)Information that incites ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, or undermines ethnic unity;

(e)Information that undermines state religious policies and promotes cults and feudal superstitions;

(f)Information that spreads rumors, disrupts social order, and undermines social stability;

(g)Information that promotes obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror or instigates crime;

(h)Information that insults or slanders others, infringes on the legal rights of others;

(i)Information that contains false, deceptive, harmful, coercive, infringement on privacy, harassment, libelous, vulgar, obscene or other morally disgusting content;

(j)Information that contains other content restricted or prohibited by Chinese laws, regulations, (departmental) rules and any legal norms;

(k)Information that contains content deemed inappropriate for display by Canaan.

(4)Not infringe on patent rights, copyrights, trademark rights, trade secrets, reputation rights, or any other legitimate rights and interests of this website and third parties, and not to publish or transmit in any methods the content that infringes on the copyrights, patent rights, trademark rights, trade secrets or other exclusive rights of others (hereinafter referred to as "Exclusive Rights");

(5)Not use the recruitment website’s services to carry out illegal business activities involving drugs, pornography, gambling, etc.;

(6)Not use the recruitment website to conduct any behavior that is adverse to the recruitment website or Canaan;

(7)Not impersonate any other person or institution, or falsely state or claim to be affiliated therewith;

(8)Not publish, e-mail, or otherwise publish any known content that is not authorized for transmission under any law, contract or statutory relationship (such as internal, proprietary and confidential information discovered or disclosed as a result of an employment relationship and a nondisclosure agreement);

(9)Not post, send, or otherwise transmit any "advertising documents" , "promotional material", "junk mail", "spam mail" , "chain letter" ,"direct marketing" or any other form of solicitation;

(10)Not publish, send or otherwise transmit computer viruses (including but not limited to trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots) (hereinafter referred to as "viruses") that are designed to interfere with, destroy or limit the functions of any computer software, hardware, communication equipment, or other computer code, files and programs;

(11)Not interfere with or disrupt the recruitment website or the servers and networks connected to the website, or violate any regulations, procedures, agreements or norms regarding the recruitment website connection network;

(12)Not stalk, dox, or otherwise harass others;

(13)Not knowingly or unintentionally violate any applicable local or national laws, and any rules with the force of law;

(14)Not intercept, tamper, collect, store or delete theirs or others' personal information, e-mails or other data without legal authorization, nor use such information obtained for any illegal or improper purposes.

(15)Not register or use their account for purposes other than regular user communication, including but not limited to registering, obtaining, or using the recruitment website account to send harassment information, spam, advertisements, fraudulent information, or otherwise for any illegal purpose.

(16)Not use the recruitment website's network services for any illegal purpose;

(17)Not endanger the legitimate rights and interests of others in any way;

(18)Canaan must be notified immediately if any illegal use of the user account or any security vulnerability in the account is discovered.


7.3If the user violates any of the above provisions when using the service of the recruitment website, Canaan reserves the right to require the user to make corrections or directly take all necessary measures (including but not limited to changing or deleting the saved content, suspending or terminating the account and rights to use network services) to mitigate the effects of the user's misconduct.


7.4You agree to indemnify and hold Canaan and/or its business partners (including technical service providers) and employees harmless from all legal liabilities arising from any third party's claim or demand arising out of the content you provide, post or transmit through the recruitment website, your violation of the Terms of Service, or your infringement of any rights of others, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs.


7.5You agree not to reproduce, copy, sell, resell or use any part of the recruitment website or the use or acquisition thereof for any other commercial purpose.


8.Service Change, Suspension or Termination


8.1In view of the particularity of network services (including but not limited to server stability, hacker attacks, or circumstances beyond Canaan's control), the User agrees that Canaan has the right to change, suspend or terminate part or all network services without giving notice to the User and without bearing the responsibility to any User or third party.


8.2The user understands that Canaan needs to repair or maintain the recruitment website (such as the website and mobile network) or related equipment that provides network services on a regular or irregular basis. Canaan will not be required to take any responsibility for the interruption of network services within a reasonable time frame due to such circumstances, provided that the recruitment website should notify the user in advance as far as possible.


8.3In the event of any of the following circumstances, Canaan has the right to suspend or terminate the provision of the recruitment website’s services under the Terms of Service to the user at any time without any responsibility to the user or any third party:


(1)Where the personal information (including but not limited to registration information and personal resumes) provided by the user is untrue;

(2)Where the user violates laws and regulations or the Terms of Service;

(3)Where relevant government departments and judicial authorities require suspension or termination of the services;

(4)Where the recruitment website is suspended or terminated according to business needs.


8.4The user agrees that Canaan, at its sole discretion, reserves the right, for any reason including but not limited to lack of use, or if Canaan believes that the user has violated the Terms of Service, to terminate your account or use of the recruitment website (or any part of the official recruitment website), and remove and delete any content you have on the recruitment website. You agree that the services provided pursuant to any provision of the Terms of Service may be suspended or terminated without prior notice. You acknowledge and agree that Canaan may immediately shut down or cancel your account and delete all relevant information and files in your account, and/or prohibit the continued use of the aforementioned files or the services. Additionally, you agree that Canaan shall not be liable to you or any third party if the use of the recruitment website is suspended or terminated, or if your account and related information and files are shut down or canceled.


9.Intellectual Property


9.1The intellectual property rights of the content (including but not limited to web pages, interface design, layout framework, text, audio, video, images, graphics or other materials) provided by Canaan on the recruitment website are owned by Canaan or relevant rights holders. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the copyrights, patents and other intellectual property rights of the software, systems, etc., through which Canaan provides the recruitment website’s services, are owned by Canaan or relevant rights holders. The recruitment website, Canaan, and other Canaan logos, products, and service names are trademarks of Canaan. Without the prior written consent from Canaan or relevant rights holders, you shall not use the content provided by the recruitment website for commercial purposes, and shall not delete, conceal or change the copyright notices, trademarks, or other rights notices of Canaan or relevant rights holders without authorization. You shall also not display, use, process or represent that you have the right to display, use, or process the trademarks in any way.


You must be the copyright owner or have obtained legal authorization before uploading or publishing content on the recruitment website. You shall ensure that the content will not infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of any third party. Once you register, log in, or use the related services involved in the Terms of Service in any way, it means that you take the initiative to authorize the non-exclusive and transferable property rights such as copyrights (including but not limited to: reproduction rights, distribution rights, rental rights, adaptation rights, translation rights, compilation rights, and other transferable rights that the copyright owner is entitled to) of the above content to Canaan free of charge and without geographical restrictions. Subject to the mandatory provisions of relevant laws and regulations and respecting the intellectual property rights of the original authorized content, the relevant intellectual property rights of these derivative products are owned by Canaan or third parties authorized by Canaan. At the same time, you agree to allow Canaan to protect your rights and interests against any infringement by such protective measures as sending rights protection documents, filing lawsuits, applying for arbitration, etc., depending on the specific circumstances. You can also authorize other third parties to defend your rights, and you may terminate your authorization to Canaan at any time.


9.3You understand and agree that the service and related software used (including but not limited to any images, photos, animations, videos, audio recordings, music, text, additional programs, and complimentary assistance materials contained therein) contain proprietary and confidential information protected by relevant intellectual property rights and other laws. You also understand and agree that the content contained in the advertisements or information presented to you through the recruitment website or advertisers (if any) are also protected by the laws related to copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights. Without the explicit authorization of Canaan or the relevant rights holders, you may not modify, rent, lend, sell, or distribute any part or all of the service or software, nor produce derivative works, or use the modified software without authorization. Canaan only grants you the personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use its software for the purpose of using it on a stand-alone computer, and you shall not (nor shall allow any third party to) copy, modify, adapt, translate, produce derivative works, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, disseminate or otherwise discover the source code, nor sell, transfer, sublicense or provide a warranty on the software, or otherwise transfer any software rights. You agree to use the service only through the interface provided by Canaan.


9.4If any content you upload or publish through the recruitment website violates the Universal Copyright Convention, the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China, the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China, and other IP-relevant laws and regulations or the Terms of Service, you shall be responsible for all losses or damages caused to others (including Canaan and/or its business partners) and bear the corresponding legal responsibility.


10.Account Cancellation


10.1 Canaan has the right to suspend the provision of services, ban the account, or even cancel the account should any of the following circumstances occur with the user's account:


(1) the registration information submitted by the user is untrue and incomplete, and it is not corrected after the user has been notified by Canaan;

(2) after registering an account, the user does not use the account for more than [365] days;

(3) the user does not meet the age and other conditions required to register an account;

(4) the user breaks the law or the account must be canceled according to the requirements of a state agency.


10.2 If the user applies for account cancellation through the "Campus Recruitment-Personal Center-Account Settings-Account Cancellation" page of the recruitment website or via the contact information provided in the Terms of Service, and if there is no dispute over the account (such as transaction dispute and account ownership dispute), the account can be cancelled with Canaan's consent.


10.3 If the user submits an account cancellation application, Canaan has the right to deny the application if it is verified that any of the following circumstances exists:


(1)there are ongoing operations (such as applying to find the account's password) in the account;

(2)other conditions that render the account inconsistent with the account termination policy.


10.4 If the user cancels the account, they should apply through the "Campus Recruitment-Personal Center-Account Settings-Account Cancellation" page of the recruitment website or via the contact information provided in the Terms of Service. The account will then be cancelled after Canaan's review and confirmation. [Account cancellation will take effect from the day the recruitment website notifies the user through the user's email address affiliated with their account.]


10.5 The user has fully understood and acknowledged that after the account is cancelled, the user will no longer have rights to the account, including but not limited to:


(1)after the account is cancelled, you will not be able to use the recruitment website to apply for campus recruitment positions (including fresh graduate recruitment and intern recruitment);

(2)after the account is cancelled, account information, rights, level, user-stored information, etc., will be erased and cannot be recovered;

(3)after the account is cancelled, the recruitment website may not provide the user with any services stipulated in the Terms of Service after account registration.


10.6 Any inconvenience or adverse consequences caused by the account cancellation shall be borne by the user and is not the responsibility of the recruitment website.


10.7 The account cancellation shall not affect the legal responsibilities of the user of the recruitment website and the user of the registered account in accordance with the Terms of Service or relevant laws and regulations.


11.Disclaimer


11.1 Canaan does not guarantee that the service will meet the user's requirements, the service will not be interrupted, or the service will be provided in a timely, secure and accurate manner.


11.2 Canaan does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of external links set up for the user’s convenience, and at the same time, Canaan does not assume responsibility for the content of any web pages directed to by such external links that are not actually controlled by the recruitment website.


11.3 The user shall, at its sole discretion and risk, decide whether to download or obtain any information (if any) through the recruitment website. Any damage to the user's computer system or data loss caused by the download of any information shall be borne by the user.


11.4 Canaan shall not be liable for losses caused by force majeure, but will try its best to reduce the losses and impacts to the user. For the avoidance of doubt, force majeure refers to objective events that cannot be foreseen or overcome, and are unavoidable, which have a significant impact on one or both parties, including but not limited to typhoons, earthquakes, floods, hail storms, government actions, strikes, riots, and maintenance of information network equipment, information network connection failure, computer, communication or other system failures, power failure, changes in laws and regulations, orders issued by judicial and administrative agencies, other force majeure or third-party inaction caused by the non-provision or delay-provision of service, or delay, stagnation or error of information and data provision.


11.5 Any advice or information obtained by the user from Canaan or through the recruitment website, whether in written or oral form, will not constitute any representation or warranty unless otherwise expressly stipulated in the Terms of Service.


12.Responsibilities


12.1 The user understands and agrees that the user is fully responsible for legal disputes arising from all activities associated with their account. The user or the account user shall be jointly and severally liable for all losses incurred by Canaan and/or third parties as a result of their violation of the Terms of Service or relevant laws and regulations.


12.2 To avoid disputes, the user shall not transfer the right to use the recruitment website or the account with or without compensation. Otherwise, the user shall bear any responsibilities arising therefrom, and Canaan reserves the right to hold the user legally liable.


13.Special Notice for International Use


You understand the borderless nature of the Internet and agree to abide by all local laws and regulations regarding online conduct and content. You hereby agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the transfer of information exported from China or your country or region.


14.Terms of Use for Minors


In principle, the recruitment website of Canaan only provides services to adults over the age of eighteen. If minors between the age of 16 and 18 want to use the recruitment website's services, they may only use the recruitment website with the consent of their guardians who should carefully read the Terms of Service, register an account, and fill in relevant information. Minors should not use the recruitment website's services without the consent of their guardians. 16.Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

16.2 Any disputes arising from or related to the Terms of Service shall be settled through friendly negotiation; if the negotiation fails, the parties hereby agree to submit the dispute to the Beijing Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with the then effective arbitration rules of the Commission. The language of the arbitration will be Chinese. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.


17.Miscellaneous


17.1 If any provision of the Terms of Service is found invalid or unenforceable for any reason, in whole or in part, or violates any applicable law, the remaining provisions of the Terms of Service shall remain valid and binding.


17.2 Canaan's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such rights.


17.3 Canaan has the right to interpret and modify the Terms of Service to the fullest extent permitted by law.


17.4 The headings in the Terms of Service are provided for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.


17.5 The Terms of Service on the Recruitment Website is written in Chinese and English. In case of any inconsistency between the two languages, the Chinese version shall prevail.
